We drove to Marty's Stew Shack to check out their burgers. Upon arrival we found out stew is made once a month with the next date of September 2. This restaurant is located in Anderson, Al in Lauderdale county. Outside there is covered seating with colorful lights and fans running. It was hot today so we stayed inside. We ordered two rebel burgers, onion rings and fries. The rebel burgers are fire and the best cheeseburgers we have had that DID NOT make the best burgers in the state list on al.com. I see why patrons in Lauderdale county spoke up proudly about the burgers at Marty's Stew Shack. The cheeseburgers are moist, hand patted and cooked with a lovely crust on both sides that sealed in the moisture. The onion rings are the best I have had in a very long time. They were fried to perfection as were the fries. If you enjoy beauty scenery, hop in the car and check out Marty's Stew Shack in Anderson, AL. Your tummy will be very happy.

Its the best little country cafe in the county. I love the double cheese burgers, chicken fingers, bbq, and my husband to be loves there ham on toast with cheese. Dont forget the Marty Sauce you always got to have it on your food. And not take just 1 little cup home with you 2 cups should do it. You cant leave without swinging in the wood swings with good ole milk shake or ice cream cone. Its really more to tell about. Kid friendly is great too. Y'all better come or you will miss out for sure.

Rebel burger is awesome. Great food and milk shakes along with bottomless soft drinks. Outside tables and a few tables inside. Definitely nothing fancy. We took the grandkids there and they loved it. Ate burgers and fries and onion rings and drinks till they were full and then we got ice cream. Delicious!
